How to Grow Your Herbs in a Can
It’s as easy as open, plant, water, grow! Here’s everything you need to do:
Step 1: Pop Open Your Can
Remove the lid and take out the seed packet. Inside, you’ll find pre-filled soil and everything you need to get started.
Step 2: Plant Your Seeds
Sprinkle the seeds evenly across the top layer of soil. Gently press them in—just enough so they’re covered, but not too deep.
Step 3: Water Lightly
Add a few tablespoons of water to moisten the soil. Don’t soak it! Keep it damp, not soggy. A spray bottle works great for this.
Step 4: Find a Sunny Spot
Place your can on a windowsill or any well-lit spot. Herbs love sunlight—aim for at least 6 hours of light per day.
Step 5: Keep It Growing
Check the soil daily. If it feels dry, give it a little drink. In 5–14 days, you’ll start to see tiny sprouts peeking through!
Step 6: Snip and Enjoy
Once your herb has grown big and leafy, snip what you need and let the rest keep growing. Fresh herbs, straight from your can!
🌱 Pro Tips:
- Avoid overwatering—root rot is a party killer.
- Turn your can every few days to keep growth even.
- Talk to your plant. Seriously, it can’t hurt.
